Google Snatch 2 Review
An honest Google Snatch2 Review.
Google
Snatch2 is a 4MB, 165 page ebook written by 'Latif' (we'll never know
his surname..)
Its premise is to teach you how to attract targeted FREE traffic to your
site without resorting to paying for clicks.
It is a sizeable volumn which contains loads of free traffic generating
methods, broken down into understandable steps.
The price is US$ 97 and in this Google Snatch2 Review, we take a look at
the contents before discussing the cons and pros of this ebook before concluding
whether it is worth the investment.
Google Snatch2 topics

It goes on to give great tips on content and how to make sure that you make a call to Action before delving into direct mailing methods. - Making money without a site
In this part, Latif shows how to market your products even without owning your own website and goes into detail about using domain forwarding rules. - Blogging
This very important and well-explained section has a lot to say about why you should blog.
It has great information about using WordPress and which plugins to use.
He explains which tactics to use for content distribution and explains linkbaiting and social linking.
Tagging and trackbacking are explained and the section finishes with a list of blogging sites. - RSS Marketing
Here you will find information about how and why to use RSS feeds, how to syndicate your feed, get subscribers and again a list of sites to submit your feed to. - Social Bookmarking
Learn the benefits and purpose of social bookmarking marketing methods, how to use it and a handy reference guide for sites where you can do social bookmarking. - Social Sites
Here Latif explains the benefits to be gained from joining Social Sites and exploiting their potential to send traffic to your site from sites like Squidoo or Twitter. - Social Media Sites
How best to build relationships on sites like Digg to build your network, status and traffic. - Video Marketing
Perhaps the most valuable section in the ebook, you can read about why you should do video marketing, where to post your videos and strategies for your video marketing methods. - Audio Marketing
Often overlooked, another treasure in the Web2.0 marketing arsenal: benefits and purpose of podcasting, how to do it and where to syndicate your podcasts. - Groups
Another method that is often ignored by other 'gurus', there is much benefit to be gained from joining groups and using your signature file and profile page to market your site. - Classified Ads
The underdog of SEO : where and how to post your classified ads.
How to get the most benefit from an ad, how to write content for your ad and a list of sites where you can post your ad.
- Yahoo Answers
This will give you traffic, if not page rank benefits.
By answering posts in Yahoo Answers, you will establish yourself as an expert in your field and attract traffic to your site. - Resource List
Lastly a comprehensive list of all the resources mentioned earlier in the book.
Cons
- Price
As with all these infoproducts, the price seems a bit steep at US$ 97.
Even though it is the most complete ebook I have seen about Web2.0 marketing, I think the price should have been in the US$47 range.
- Lengthy salespage
As much as he claims to be an ordinary guy who respects your intelligence, his salespage takes ages to read through and he uses all the tricks in the book to get the sale.
Can't blaim him, he has an ebook to sell.
I wonder though if it was really necessary to make the salespage that long as you struggle to reach the end of it to decide if you want to buy the ebook or not. - Editorial review missing
The spelling mistakes and grammatical errors could be a ploy to convince you that he is a normal guy, but I doubt it.
Surely he could have hired an editor to fix his spelling errors ?
At least Google Snatch2 has slightly better spelling than Google Snatch1, which was painful to read - Hurried tone
There are parts where I think he could have delved a little deeper, especially considering the price.
Having said that, he does cover a lot of ground and covers the basics of each topic with a resource list at the end, so it is possible to extend your research yourself.
Pros
- Great Video and audio marketing sections
Probably the most comprehensive guide out there on Video Marketing as well as good information on podcasting. - Great Web 2.0 information for novices
I like the fact that the whole book is about getting free traffic as this is crucial for new SEO'ers.
It is so dangerous to dabble with Pay-per-click when you start out that you really should focus on getting free traffic. - Good resources sections
Each section ends with a list of resources relevant to that section and there is a comprehensive list of more resources at the end of the book.
This is fantastic information to have at your fingertips. - Non-hype text
Aside from the salespage, the text is pleasantly non-hype and you feel there is a real person behind the typing, not a 'guru'.
He acknowledges that he did not meet success immediately (unlike some other gurus) and that it took him almost 4 years of research and trial-and-error to get to his free click formula.
Other real-person advice he gives is to diversify your marketing strategies.
As the internet changes, some strategies will stop working so it is best not to rely on a single way to attract traffic. - 8 Week money-back guarantee
Because he is selling Google Snatch 2 through Clickbank, he is forced to give an 8-week money back guarantee. - WordPress information
His list of WordPress plugins is fantastic! This is truly valuable information. - Bonuses
- Special report: Free targeted traffic
Where to find your visitors and how to attract them to your site. - Guru success formula
How to automate your business model. - Updates
Free updates on new developments. - Blueprints
8 Short step-by-step summaries of the tasks you need to perform in your marketing plan. - Mindmaps
8 Visual diagrams highlighting the concepts you need to follow to market your Web 2.0 plan.
- Special report: Free targeted traffic
Conclusion
In this Google Snatch2 review, we've had a look at the contents , pros and cons of the ebook.
I still think the price is a bit high, but the information is unique and the resource section makes up for it.
